Putting words to work
We create reality with language. Thus, how we
put words to work has a profound effect on the world around us.
Despite our grammar school teachers' best efforts, many of us tremble at the idea of writing.
My mom, however, taught me love and curiosity around words, sentences, and the larger building blocks of writing.
For me, creating with words is deeply satisfying.
Getting started, staying in motion, declaring
it complete
Whether you're facing a new communication project or not quite sure how to move forward with what you've
got so far, a fresh perspective can help. Clients arrive with everything from the barest outline of an idea to stacks of background
material. They leave with polished brochures, presentations, policy papers, annual reports, or whatever they desire.
Identity
Many of my clients seek help articulating
to the world who they are, what they do, and why others should care.
Often, the first step is reconnecting my clients to their passion. As I ask questions, listen with curiosity, and
experiment with words and images, I aim to reflect that enthusiasm so others are drawn to it.
My favorite moments are when a client looks at the results
and says:
"Is
that really me? Wow!"
